Situated in an enchanting hamlet of Albanchez is this enormous terraced village house to restore with fabulous views of the country from all the windows along the long side. The house is structurally sound but remains unspoilt from bad restorations and so it conserves loads of traditional features such as the traditional fireplaces, glazed inbuilt cupboards, water jar holder and many more features in the corrals which are hewn out of solid rock. The house is a magnificent maze of rooms on five different levels. Behind the house there is an area of ground for a garden or with a retaining wall it would make an enormous terrace with those wonderful views of the country with fields and rocky outcrops. Clearly due to its size the restoration costs are high unless you are looking for a fascinating project to do yourself. Some costs could be reduced if certain floors were taken out to make double height rooms. The house is five minutes from Albanchez, 20 minutes from Zurgena and Albox. The nearest airports are Almería at 50 minutes and Murcia airport at 1 and a half hours.
